Σαράντα δύο φύλλα. Έξι σημάδια, και σε κάθε σημάδι επτά βαθμίδες. Τη φτιάχνεις με το χέρι σου, σε όποιο χαρτί. Τα χρώματα είναι δικά σου.

Ο τροχός
Ανάγκη, Δώρο και Σφραγίδα κρατούν. Ύβρις, Κυνήγι και Εξορία λύνουν.
Απέναντι: Ανάγκη – Ύβρις · Δώρο – Κυνήγι · Σφραγίδα – Εξορία.
Ό,τι είναι στο ίδιο μισό, συγγενεύει. Ό,τι είναι απέναντι, είναι αντίθετο.

Έρωτας και Κορώνα μαζί, στο ίδιο άνοιγμα, γεννούν Νιότη.
Η ανάγνωση
Ανακάτεψε. Άπλωσε την τράπουλα κλειστή σε πέντε σειρές των οκτώ. Τα δύο φύλλα που περισσεύουν στέκουν από πάνω, ως στέμμα. Άνοιξε τρεις πεντάδες, σε όποια διάταξη. Μετά το δεύτερο άνοιγμα, αποκάλυψε το ένα φύλλο του στέμματος. Μετά το τρίτο άνοιγμα, αποκάλυψε το δεύτερο. Ερμήνευσε τα σχήματα και τις θέσεις όπως εμφανίζονται. Το ανάποδο φύλλο έχει σημασία: Νιότη που φυλάγεται αντί να ξοδεύεται· Χάρη που δεν έγινε δεκτή· Μόχθος που δεν πληρώθηκε· Έρωτας που δεν πράχθηκε· Όραση που δεν ειπώθηκε· Κορώνα που κρατιέται αντί να δίνεται· Χάρος που δεν ολοκληρώνεται.
In translation
Forty-two cards. Six marks, and under each mark seven ranks. You make it by hand, on any card. The colors are yours.
The six marks. † Ananke, what must be. ╲ Hubris, what oversteps. ∪ the Gift, what is given. λ the Hunt, what takes. θ the Seal, what is kept shut. ๑ the Exile, what leaves.
The wheel. Ananke, the Gift and the Seal hold. Hubris, the Hunt and the Exile loose. Across from each other: Ananke and Hubris, the Gift and the Hunt, the Seal and the Exile. Marks on the same half are kin. Marks across the wheel are opposed.
The seven ranks. 1 Youth, what is not yet spent. 2 Grace, what comes unasked. 3 Toil, what is paid for. 4 Love, what pulls you. 5 Sight, what you see plainly. 6 Crown, what you hold and what you leave behind. 7 Death, what ends. Love and Crown together, in the same opening, make a Youth.
The reading. Shuffle. Lay the deck face down in five rows of eight. The two cards left over stand above as the crown. Open three sets of five: in whatever arrangement. After the second opening reveal one crown card. After the third opening reveal the second crown card. Interpret patterns and positions as they appear. A reversed card is significant: a Youth kept instead of spent, a Grace refused, a Toil unpaid, a Love not acted on, a Sight not spoken, a Crown held instead of given, a Death that will not complete.
